Service Assessments/Intakes For Drug & Alcohol Addiction
Jewish Family & Children’s Service has been providing non-sectarian services to the residents of Monmouth County for over thirty five years.
Jewish Family & Children’s Service Substance Abuse Treatment Program provides Intense Outpatient and Outpatient Treatment to clients in Monmouth and surrounding counties.
Our professional Counselors assist in helping clients find effective solutions to break out of destructive patterns and move towards recovery.
Appointments for client assessments/intakes will be scheduled within one week of initial contact. Clients are accepted into treatment immediately.

Support clients in moving towards self acceptance, taking personal responsibility, and improving their self-esteem.
Help to re-establish family relationships and community ties.
Our Services include:
- Individual and group counseling
- Family Counseling
- Case management services
- Random drug screening
Educational Group Sessions on:
- Stress management
- Life skills
- Anger management
- Vocational readiness
We also provide referrals to DVR (Division of Vocational Rehabilitation).
We will accept clients who are referred from: IDRC, Drug Court, DYFS, SAI, ISP, MAP, Medicaid and Probation/Parole.
We connect clients to AA/NA meetings and other community resources.
We will provide ongoing communications to all referral agencies upon request.
This may include:
- Client’s attendance for intakes/assessments
- Progress reports
- Discharge summaries
JF&CS offers self pay with a sliding scale.

Monday, Tuesday & Friday - 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday - 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
