Jewish Family & Children's Service Kosher Meals on Wheels

Kosher Meals on Wheels provides home delivered Kosher meals to nutritionally- at- risk or those unable to prepare meals who over the age of 60. Donations are solicited but no one will be denied meals because of an inability to donate. The program can provide meals for five (5) or seven (7) days a week. Volunteers deliver the meals fresh or frozen depending on individual needs.

The program receives funding from the Monmouth County Office on Aging, the Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey, and individual donors. On average Jewish Family & Children’s Service delivers 80 meals a day.

Our home delivered companion program is the Congregate Meal Program. This program provides meals in a group setting on a once a week basis. Sometimes there is a discussion group leader or just informal socialization experience. The meals are held in convenient locations; 11-12:30 Thursdays at Temple Beth Miriam 180 S. Lincoln Ave., Long Branch and Fridays 12-1:30 at Freehold Jewish Center 59 Broad St., Freehold
